Julia is an information, learning experience, and graphic designer. She helps turn complex ideas into design that’s clean, useful, and human.

She spent years in education where she learned to design with the audience in mind, to anticipate challenging questions, and to build structure that makes information easier to follow.

You can usually find her either on a soccer field or in a coffee shop sketching between projects. Life’s too short not to design the one you want.

My Philosophy

What I’ve learned is this:

Education

When design supports learning, students don’t just improve… they participate.

“I’ve always struggled with math, but thanks to you, I understand it now.”

— Former Student

Government

In government, design turns “tribal knowledge” into compliant, searchable systems.

“Julia turned scattered notes into an interactive SOP manual—complete with hyperlinks, visuals, and infographics.”

— Client Founder

Corporate

In corporate settings, good design prevents repeat meetings.

“Julia… redesigned our operations manuals and procedures in a way that made a major difference in efficiency.”

— Director @ BNY

Life

Design shapes behavior, mood, and outcomes.

“You can’t just think your way to a better future… you have to design it.”

— Burnett & Evans

Creative Detours

The stuff I make and do, just because.

    • Afrobeats

    • Live talks and creative events

    • Self-help books

    • Biltong

    • Thai & Laotian food

    • Fashion

    • Bristle & Co. character doodles

    • Soccer pickup games

    • Quick math tip resources

  • I’ve been turning dental tools into characters. What started as a one-off illustration turned into names, personalities, and now some animation experiments. The long-term goal is a series and, hopefully, a few household names. Stay tuned!

  • On a soccer field. I genuinely plan my week around playing. I play in coed and all-women’s leagues, and I’ve been playing since fourth grade. It’s my favorite way to meet people from all over the world.
